"Without your heart you cannot have God," Eldredge says. "Without your heart you cannot have love. Without your heart you cannot have faith. Without your heart you cannot find the work that you were meant to do. In other words, without your heart you cannot have life." It’s our hope that you’ll gather along with us through this journey, and that as we conquer our battles and win the war for our hearts, you’ll be able to do the same. Jesus said in Luke 21:34, "Be careful or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life." It sounds like he knew what we were up against. But it’s God’s desire to see every man’s heart healed and fully alive, just as He designed it to be. "You have been ransomed by Christ," Eldredge writes. "Your treachery is forgiven. Your heart is good." What would happen if you believed that; if you came to the place where you knew it was true? If you were able to really live the life God intended for you to live?
