Are you really living your life to the fullest? Really living the life God meant for you to live? Author John Eldredge wrote, "The glory of God is
man fully alive." Do you feel fully alive? Sadly, many men have been so wounded over the years that we’ve become a mere glimmer of what God planned for us. And the only way to break the chains that Satan holds so tightly on us is to get our hearts back. But as Eldridge points out in his books Wild At Heart, Waking The Dead, and others, the battle for our hearts is an all out war. And it’s a battle that most do not begin to understand how to enter. "Without your heart you cannot have God," Eldridge says. "Without your heart you cannot have love. Without your heart you cannot have faith. Without your heart you cannot find the work that you were meant to do. In other words, without your heart you cannot have life." It’s our hope that you’ll gather along with us through this journey, and that as we conquer our battles and win the war for our hearts, you’ll be able to do the same. Jesus said in Luke 21:34, "Be careful or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life." It sounds like he knew what we were up against. But it’s God’s desire to see every man’s heart healed and fully alive, just as He designed it to be. "You have been ransomed by Christ," Eldridge writes. "Your treachery is forgiven. Your heart is good." What would happen if you believed that; if you came to the place where you knew it was true? If you were able to really live the life God intended for you to live? Can you imagine?
